Our Pastor
We want you to meet our pastor. Bro Bobby Stults was called to be our pastor in October 2007. Bro Bobby is ‘not from around these parts’ but hails from Southeast Mississippi where he calls Laurel, MS home.
Bro Bobby surrendered to the ministry in April of 1995 and began Seminary that year. He graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education with an emphasis in Christian history in August 1997. Bro Bobby then graduated in December of 2000 with his Masters of Divinity degree.
Bro. Bobby is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Bro Bobby did spend 2 years serving as a Youth Pastor while obtaining his degree in Seminary.Bro Bobby has been pastoring since 1997, and was most recently the pastor at Old Zion Hill Baptist Church of Albany, LA.
Bro Bobby is married to the former Michelle Puckett of Raleigh, MS. They met and married while attending Jones County Jr. College in Ellisville, MS. They have been married since 1981. Bro Bobby and Michelle have 3 wonderful children, and 3 wonderful ‘in-laws’. Son-Austin/daugher-n-law, Jen; Daughter-Joanna/Son-n-law, Josh; Daughter-Whitney/Son-n-Law, Grayson. Bro Bobby and Michelle are also enjoying the new additions to their family in the form of grandchildren. Carah Ashlee-Jun '08, Tripp (Robert A. Stults III) Jul '08, Kale Joshua-Apr 2010 and Asher Grayson-Apr 2010.
Bro Bobby has challenged our fellowship to ‘step out of our comfort zones’ and to get into our community for Jesus. Bro Bobby has cast the vision God has given him that we as a church must Bond with God and each other, that we must Build up our walk with Christ, and that will lead us to Blossom out into our community with the love of Jesus.
