Since August of 2005, New Orleans has been a place of suffering and despair. Here at Oak Park Baptist Church, we have sought ways to help rebuild our community. One area, in which we thrive as a fellowship, is hosting thousands of volunteers each and every year.

Since 2005, Oak Park has housed and hosted over 10,000 volunteers! Our facility, while spartan in nature for the volunteers, provides an affordable alternative to hotels/motels for the volunteer work force groups coming into this area. We offer meals, shower trailers and rooms for volunteer groups coming to New Orleans in their ongoing ministry to our city. Thank you for coming.
